Four Words - the scripts

First of all, I apologize if this entry has typos in it. I'm testing out posting to the blog on my Blackberry, which appears to be somewhat labor intensive on my thumbs.

Something I explored prior to doing the trailer was writing a script. Mr. Davis and I did the screenplay for the book well before I started working on the trailer. I looked into screenplay and script writing techniques and software and found a program called Celtx that was free to download and had several options for different kinds of scripts. The professional standard, as far as I can tell, is Final Cut, but that was a little out of my budget. Celtx worked just fine, and I even did a storyboard and script for the trailer with it. I'll attach those later.

So what's the next step? Well, we have discussed the possibility of doing an audio book, which will require yet another script. I'm still undecided on what priority I'm going to assign to this phase of the project, but I'm definitely going to look into it.
